I need to speak to someone when I logged in today it noted Id been looking for how to close my account a week ago I havent been on your site for at least 2 months I paid for the year and do not want to cancel my account that and their was a password reset requested but not by me

Can’t contact anyone via phone to file a claim or cancel this policy
Cant speak with anyone on the phone about a claim. When you call the number provided, it says you can contact them via SMS. Messaged them but no help there either.
User's recommendation: Don’t use this company
Why am I being charged??
Not been called back yet so Zero star rating. Call me an explain this garbage. Looking at filing a nasty charge back and file a BBB case of fraud.
Was trying to cancel my policy but no phone call accepted would like for my policy to be canceled have a new policy with a wireless company please make sure my policy is canceled

Out of grievance with TMobile, we decided to give them less money and cancelled our protection plan with them and looked for a third party insurance. That's when we found Akko.
After reading the reviews, I was so excited and relieved that we have found an affordable and reliable option for our family.
Almost a year later, my son's phone stops charging. It seems like the charging port is broken or loose. It took a whole week of back and forth emailing Akko just to get the claim approved. First we started the claim on the app.
They then emailed us after a day, asking us to show them a video of the phone not working. We sent them the video expeditiously, within the same day. We waited 2 days to get a response. When we finally get a response, the reply we got was "Can you please confirm the make and model of your device?".
Whyyyy didn't you ask that the first time?? In fact, why didn't you include the required video and confirmation of the brand and model when I first opened the claim on the app??? I feel that this is a delay tactic. Another 2 days go by and they finally say that the claim is approved.
But wait, there's more work to be done. Now I can go to the repair place, ask for a quote and hope that they have the ability and parts to do the repair. Otherwise, you will have to wait for them to get the parts which can take up to a week. This is absolutely inconvenient.
No thanks. Akko, I expected so much more. Dealing with a 3rd party repair shop is understandable, I can be ok with that.
But the fact that you wasted a week with the senseless back and forth emailing, thanks unacceptable. I do not recommend Akko.

Charged me for insurance that they refused to give me after they already charged me.
I will be reporting this to the better business bureau. You charged me for insurance for my phone.
And then at a later date decided to make extra requirements in order for me to have that insurance. I tried to upload photos of my phone to the website and it would not work.
Now that I need covered you are refusing to pay. This action is illegal and I will be reporting it.
